PLD Space aims to become Europe's leading space technology company
As part of Fepeval's conference on the Strategic Value of Industrial Areas, PLD Space has unveiled its plans to become the leading space technology company in Europe. The event has been attended by local authorities, including Nuria Montes, Regional Minister of Innovation, Industry, Trade and Tourism; Felipe Carrasco, Regional Secretary of Industry, Trade and Consumer Affairs, as well as regional leaders such as the Mayor of Elche, Pablo Ruz, and Luis Barcala, Mayor of Alicante.
The Executive President of PLD Space, Ezequiel Sánchez, has highlighted the company's ambition to anchor its project in the region of Alicante. In addition, Sánchez has revealed the hiring of 30 people per quarter in 2024 for the development of MIURA 5, scheduled for launch in 2025.
PLD Space seeks to integrate the entire value chain of its business, from design to rocket operation, giving it a significant competitive advantage by planting a holistic approach that has led to significant reductions in development times and costs.
