King Felipe VI has dedicated a few words to PLD Space during his speech at the ceremony celebrating the Rei Jaume I Awards, which took place in the Lonja de Valencia. "From Elche you have made Spain history with the launch of MIURA, which places our country among the only 10 in the world capable of designing, producing and launching space rockets," he said during his presentation.
The head of state also took the opportunity to point out that the alliance between science and business is already working to make "Spain the first country in Europe to have its own satellite launcher".
